Abraham Garza Jr., began his journey with our Heavenly Father on May 14, 2012 at 7:25 am. “Bubba”, being the unselfish child that he was, made his mom promise to donate any organs that could help another child if anything were to happen to him. Abraham was always trying to please others and make them happy. He will be sorely missed by all family members, teachers and his dear friends. Abraham is survived by his loving mother, Crystal Garza, father Abraham Sr., daddy Oscar, loving sister Michelle, grandparents, Yolanda and Roel Garza, and grandmother Iris Nicholson. Abraham Jr. had many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Bill Nicholson and grandfather Bud.

During summers and holidays, Bubba enjoyed running, playing, swimming, vacations in the valley, and just being around family and friends. Bubba enjoyed music. His favorite song was Barbie’s World. Bubba loved dancing, being silly and really enjoying every day that God blessed him with. Another one of his enjoyments was simply lying in bed and watching “The Baby Stories” with his mother. He spent a lot of time helping in the kitchen with his mommy and grandmother.

Abraham had a way of just being “Bubba.” Nobody could imitate his bubbly personality, his compassionate heart, and of course his contagious smile. Bubba will be missed by all who knew and loved our little Angel. Now may he walk with God on his great eternal journey!

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, May 18, and the service celebrating Bubba’s life will be at 11:00am Saturday, May 19, all held at Niday Funeral Home – Beamer Chapel. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park in Pasadena.

Martha (Granny) Hinson was born in Houston. Martha was a woman of strong faith and was loved by everyone that knew her. She was always laughing and stayed in good spirits no matter what was happening in her life. She was a dedicated and loving mother who always put her children first. Martha loved to talk about her family, especially her beloved grandson Joey and the times they spent together. Martha enjoyed good conversation, old movies, and talking politics. She was a strong woman and lived an independent life until her recent illness. She was a compassionate and giving person and was well respected by all.

Martha is preceded in death by her daughter Deborah A. Hinson. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Andrea (Andi) Lynch, son-in-law David Lynch, grandson Joseph Lynch and fiancé Fallon Yelverton. Martha also leaves behind a niece, Gayle Franks, nephew, Curtis Braswell and their families. God called Martha home to be with him and words cannot express the loss felt by all who knew her. We are confident Martha did not leave this earth as one who has no hope, but she departed knowing that to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord.

Martha will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Granny we will never forget you and we will love you forever.

A memorial service celebrating Martha’s life will be held at 6:30pm Thursday, May 17th, at Niday Funeral Home – Beamer Chapel.

Billie Ray Majors, 77, left his home here to be with his Heavenly Father on May 2, 2012. Bill was born December 8th, 1934 in East Prairie, MO to Robert and Alma Majors. He lived many years in the Houston and Friendswood area.

After graduating from high school, Bill joined the Navy and served for eight years in communications. He received two good conduct medals and a bronze star.

After the Navy, he attended college and became a railroad engineer and assisted in building railroads all over the U.S., after which he purchased his own railroad company and established International Carpet Cleaners, Inc. He also became a real estate agent for Century 21 Key and was named top selling agent several times.

“Billy Bob”, as most of his friends called him, loved to spend time with his wife, family, friends and his little dog Rory. His favorite thing to do was play golf.

We thank God for the peace he gave our Bill in his last days. He fought a long hard battle and on the last day, opened his beautiful blue eyes, gave a most peaceful smile and then went on to be with his Lord, whom he had professed to have seen two days prior.
