Delores Raye “Dee” Cook
Delores Raye “Dee” Cook, beloved mother and grandmother passed away suddenly in Houston, on January 27, 2011 at the age of 70. She was born on November 14, 1940, in Lima, Ohio.
Dee lived in Seabrook for many years before settling in Dayton. She was a member of the Seabrook Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and a CLEMC paramedic for many years. She was also very involved in the Order of the Eastern Star. She touched many people’s lives along her journey and will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
Dee is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cook Jr.
She is survived by her son, Raymond Cook and wife Trish, daughter Ruth Rouse and husband Dwayne, son Robert Cook and wife Sandy, and daughter Diane Meyers. Grandchildren include Christina Cook, Anthony Michael Lovett, Brent Cook, Brandon McBride, Angel Meyers, Robert Cook Jr., Tabatha Cook, Raymond Kyle Tallman, Chris Young, Amber Young, Ashton Young, Tyler Young, Jacob Rouse, Joshua Rouse, Jena Rouse, Andrea Payne and twelve Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm-8:00pm Sunday, January 30th and the Funeral Service celebrating Dee’s life will be Monday, at 10:00am both held at Niday Funeral Home, with Pastor John Mark Benson officiating.
