Maxine Louise Rogers

Maxine Louise Rogers, 86, was born June 20, 1931, in Houston, Texas and died November 30, 2017, in Friendswood, Texas. She was married to Leon Rogers for 60 years until his passing Oct. 18, 2010.

She is survived by sister:  Ida Smith Hadamek Waller TX., her three children; Michael Rogers of Austin Tx., Linda Reese of Montgomery, TX. and David Rogers of Pearland, TX. Seven grandchildren and nine great grand children.

Maxine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She provided a strong Christian house hold for her family.  After years as a stay at home mother she went back to college and made the Dean’s List.  She took a job with Pasadena ISD as manager of food services, for Frazier Elementary school.  Through her service with the school she was able to feed and love countless numbers of children. She was a member of Sagemont Church.

After her retirement, she and Leon travel across America in their travel trailer. Until her sickness, she was a constant at her children’s and grandchildren events.  Always cheering and encouraging them on with love and support. She also enjoyed sewing for her grandchildren and cooking.

There will be a Graveside Service, Monday, December 4th, at 2:00pm., Forest Park East Cemetery.
