David Alan Peterson



David Alan Peterson (63) went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 5, 2018 after a short battle with cancer.  He was born in Wichita, Kansas on May 18, 1954.  His hobbies include camping, fishing, woodworking, building many pieces of furniture in his home, his backyard is a tropical paradise and is a certified monarch waystation.  He was a true “Oiler” fan turned Texan Football fan enjoying watching all the games with his family.

David worked for Thermo King of Houston for 38 years.  He was the Parts Manager of the year 1988 and 2007 and has received many other awards during his tenure.  Served on the Thermo King Dealer Advisory Council aftermarket committee for 6 years with many contributions toward the aftermarket group.  Well liked by all his peers and employees, as well as Thermo King Dealers nationwide, he provided a vast knowledge of inventory systems and how they operate.

Survivors include wife of 29 years Belinda married April 14, 1988, sons Dustin and Samantha, Devin and Hanna, mother Marian Cornish, brothers Mike and Darla, Dale and Lori, sister Melaina and Steve Runnels, numerous nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by his father Lawrence D. Peterson and sister Cheryl Peterson

David was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.  He always had a big sense of humor finding strength and support from all his family including his canine recliner buddies Lucky, Sky, and Elsie.

A celebration of David’s life will be held at the Connect Community Church, Thursday March 8, 2018 at 6pm located at 4405 Crenshaw Rd, Pasadena 77504
