Ray Douglas Bradshaw
A sudden heart attack on December 5, 2007, took the life of a true one-of-a-kind character, Ray Douglas Bradshaw.
Ray was a beloved and generous husband, father, and grandfather and a loyal friend to many. He was born in Kerrville, Tx and grew up in Aransas Pass where he worked on a shrimp boat as a young adult and fished in Hog Island Hole with his beloved “Granny” and “Pop”. He was an exceptional fisherman and pool player, and was renowned for ribbing people. He was generous to his family and loyal to his friends, many from his days as vice-president of First city Bank in Clear Lake City and Allied Bank in Deer Park.
He will be missed tremendously by his wife Susanne Bradshaw; son Jeffrey Bradshaw; daughters Robin and Cayce; step-son Ben Weaver and wife Nicole; grandson Will; sisters, Judy Hofstetter and husband, Steve, and Robbie Newman and husband Jackie; former wife Carolyn Harris and husband Tim; and four nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ray’s life and a barbeque will be held Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 2pm at the Fuller Ranch, 9919 North P St, La Porte.
