Christine Anne Woodard Buff

Christine Anne Woodard Buff, born March 2, 1962 in Provo Utah, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 in Houston at the age of 48 years. A resident of Deer Park for over 40 years, Christine was known for her vivacious and loving spirit. She was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor which she shared with many. Her warmth and kindness made everyone feel loved. She held her two children closest to her heart, along with family and many close friends, whom will miss her dearly. Christine is preceded in death by her father Charles D. Woodard, a brother Jeffery Woodard, sisters, Cheri Eaton, and Jowayne Woodard. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Lafon and wife Jana Yowell; her son, Christopher Underwood; her mother, Shirley Woodard; granddaughter, Kinsey Lafon – Yowell; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am Friday, January 28, 2011, in the chapel of Niday Funeral Home, located at 6777 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. A memorial service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. Bill Cole officiating.
