Carol Lynn Lazarus, 69, died Saturday, September 17, 2011.
She was born October 20, 1941, in Austin, Texas. Her family moved to the Houston area where she spent the majority of her life.
Carol worked for many years in the banking business, but finished her career with the City of Pasadena. She retired in February of 2002 from one of her favorite positions where she was the Executive Administrative Assistant to Mayor Johnny Isbell.
Carol was full of life, love, and song. She loved her friends, her family, and the love of her life, her husband Guy.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Bootsie King; her daughter Deborah Mefford; and grandson, Shane Lazarus.
Survivors include her husband, Guy Lazarus; her 3 daughters, Tammy Hansen and husband Weldon of Burleson, TX, Kimberly Hale and husband Doc Hale of Deer Park, TX, Rebecca Phillips and husband Jeff of Porter, TX; and one son, Mike Lazarus of Deer Park, TX; 11 grandchildren, Chris, Elizabeth, Sarah, Hannah, Micah, TJ, Anthony, Jake, Justin, Kurt, and Brittany; 2 great grandchildren, Jaden Hansen and Zoey Priester; Sister, Elaine Messer and husband Jay; Brother, Kenneth King and wife Kathy; nieces, Terri, Staci, Lisa; nephew, Stephen; and multiple cousins.
Visitation will be Monday, September 19, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, and the funeral service will be Tuesday, September 20, at 1:00pm, all held at Niday-Fairmont Funeral Home in Pasadena. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
