William Raymond “Bill” Colligan

William Raymond “Bill” Colligan, 66, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 in Friendswood, Texas at his home surrounded by family. Bill was born October 11, 1943. He was a resident of Friendswood for 37 years and former resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana for 28 years. He worked at IBM for 25 years until his retirement and then had his own private computer consultant business for 15 years. Bill was involved with the Clear Lake Volunteer Coast Guard for many years and a faithful blood donor for First Baptist Church of Friendswood Blood Drive.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Leo Leslie Colligan, Sr. and Jeanette Hodge Colligan. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sharon Colligan; his daughter Shannon Kuehm and her husband Robert of Pearland, Texas; his brother Leo Leslie Colligan, Jr. and his wife Patricia Colligan of Denham Springs, Louisiana; three sisters and numerous other family members.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 8, 2010, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at Niday Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 10:00am, at Niday Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society .
