Susan Elaine Kozel Harcrow
Susan passed away peacefully at Methodist Hospital at 5:44pm on April 23, 2010 after a two-year long battle with cancer.
Susan was born on August 26, 1959 at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended Everman High School and moved to Houston, Texas in 1980 where she met and married Charles Kozel. Together they moved to Pearland, Texas where they lived and raised their two sons, Joshua and Andrew, for 25 years. Susan was involved with the Pearland PTA, Pearland Lioness’ Club, and worked at both Shadycrest and Silvercrest Elementary Schools. She would later move to Rogers, Arkansas in 2008 where she worked at the headquarters for Walmart Corporation before her return to Baytown, Texas in 2009 where she lived until her passing with her husband, Jerry Harcrow.
Susan is preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Eugene Fetter, and her brother, Tony Fetter. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Joanne and Ray Adams, her husband, Jerry Harcrow, her sons, Joshua Kozel and wife Katie and Andrew Kozel, and granddaughter, Madelyne.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 26th, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm, with a prayer service at 7:00pm, and the service celebrating Susan’s life will be Tuesday, April 27th, at 11:00am, all held at Niday Funeral Home. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery in Pearland.
