Seyed Emam

Seyed Ahmad Emam, 86, left his home here, to be with his heavenly father on April 19, 2012. He was born July 31, 1925 in Shoshtar, Persia. He retired as an accountant of the National Oil Company of Iran. He also worked at the Industrial and Mining Bank of Iran . Seyed was a golfer, hunter, musician, mountain climber, and gardener. He always felt a special love for the United States and the American people. He eventually migrated to the United States after the loss of his wife and son.

Seyed was a forgiving, and patient man. He was also generous and merciful toward the poor and needy. He was a man of peace and humility, even though he was from a powerful and influential family. He treated everyone with honor and respect. His way of living reached the throne of God as a memorial.

He heard about the Lord Jesus, and believed that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He quickly became a baptized believer at Sagemont Church. His wish was to have a Christian funeral at Sagemont Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hakimeh Sheik Ahsaf Emam, and his son, Mahmood Emam. He is survived by one son, Mamad Emam, four daughters, Sorayah Emam, Azizeh Hashemi, Jaleh Borden, Jila Shahroozi, sons-in-laws, John Shahroozi, Shams Hashemi, Don Borden, and six grandsons, Amir and Reza Sharoozi, Ali Hashemi, Steven, Ryan, and Christopher Borden.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, April 27th, at Sagemont Church, 13300 S. Sam Houston Parkway East, Houston 77089, with visitation one hour prior to the service, starting at 12:00pm.

But now the Lord says: Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me, I will honor, and those who despise Me, will be lightly esteemed.
