Michael Joseph Marley

Michael Joseph Marley, 26, left his home here to be with his heavenly Father on April 27, 2010. He was born on June 30, 1983, in Houston, TX, grew up in Pasadena and graduated from South Houston High School. He enjoyed his years in FFA, raising animals and loved attending rodeos, hunting, fishing and racing. Michael began working after high school with Eveready Industrial, and traveled across the USA as well as surrounding countries.
Michael is survived by his parents Robert and Karen Marley and mother Kim Grinton, Brother and sister in law Justin and Jessica Marley and niece London and step Brother Christopher Benoit, Step Brother and Sister in law Johnny and Traci Guzman and Nephews Robbie and Jake Cassin. Grandparents Joe and Sara Marley, Harlan and La Merle Putt and Glenda Starkey, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Michael never met a stranger and was loved by everyone he ever met. While his time with us was too brief, he will live on forever in our hearts. His sudden departure leaves us broken hearted. There is comfort in knowing that Michael lived everyday with passion. His presence and laughter could brighten a darkened room. It is that spark that we will use to fill the void left behind. Our baby, our brother, our uncle, our friend, will never be forgotten, but forever engraved in our memories.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, April 30, 2010, at Niday Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, in Houston. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 1, 2010, in the chapel of Niday Funeral Home. Interment will be privately held by the family at a later time.
