Lillian Ann Weede Eddings, a long-time resident of Houston, died July 5, 2012 in Kingwood, Texas. She was born October 22, 1936 in Shelby, Mississippi to William H. Weede and Evelyn Christine Wootten Weede. She married Selman D. “Ed” Eddings on July 3, 1954.
Ann earned her General Education certificate in 1969 and continued her education at Chenier Business College, graduating with a diploma in Bookkeeping.
Ann also enjoyed her later career as a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant for more than 25 years and cherished the friends she made during this time.
Ann was a member of South Main Baptist Church in Pasadena.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband Selman Eddings, her parents, brothers Marion Weede and Billy Weede, and sister Ruth Cook. She is survived by her three daughters, Cheryle Bell and husband Jimmy, Colleen Trammell and husband Guy, and Susan Childers and husband Hoss; brothers Eddie Weede, Bobby Weede, Gene Weede and wife Jan, Jerry Weede and wife Glenda, Charlie Weede and wife Eunice, and Cecil Settle; grandchildren Michael Bell and wife Jamy, Lisa Bell, Terry Bell, Chad Childers, Kenny Childers and Lesley Trammell; great-grandchildren Cloeigh, Chandler, Jilliann, Margeaux, Mykel, Brooklynn, Christian and Aiden.
The service celebrating Ann’s life will be at 11:00am Monday, July 9th, at Niday Funeral Home – Beamer Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to the service, starting at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jimmy Bell, Hoss Childers, Charlie Weede, Kenny Childers, Chad Childers and Michael Bell.
