Olivia Jeannette Wallis, 16 months old, went home to be with her Heavenly Father and her daddy on July 22, 2012. In her final days, she was surrounded by family and friends whom she had touched in extraordinary ways. In spite of her hardships, she possessed the strength, courage and spirit we will always cherish and continually be inspired by. She was born in Houston, Texas where she lived with her mother and father, Tyson and Kristin Wallis, until his sudden passing on January 18, 2012. Olivia then relocated with her mother and twin sister Eleanor to Friendswood, Texas, where she continued to be the most loving child, always full of laughter. She loved her parents and her “sissa”, and made a lasting impression on everyone she came in contact with. She had the most engaging smile, her wave welcomed all, and her eyes captivated her sweet precious spirit. Olivia’s long eyelashes and pouty lips teamed with her cute mannerisms brought joy to all who had the pleasure to meet her. Not only did she charm her family and friends but she also uniquely and emotionally impacted the doctors and nurses providing care for her; Olivia’s enduring character and love of life remains forever.
She was preceded in death by her father, who loved her dearly, Tyson Howard Wallis. She is survived by a loving family: her mother Kristin Nicole Wallis; her twin sister Eleanor Cathryn; her grandparents Donald and Debra Sapaugh, and Bill and Maxine Wallis; her aunts and uncles, Kyle and Jennifer Sapaugh, Jameson and Lauren Appel, and Walton Wallis; and her cousins, Dawn, Tanner, Presley, Andersen, and Madden Sapaugh. She is also survived by her great-grandfathers Gene Tull, Jerry Sapaugh and great-grandmother Margie Ward.
The pallbearers are Jameson Appel, David Hoffman, Jonathan McAdams, Kyle Sapaugh, Donnie Tull and Walton Wallis.
The viewing will be held at Niday Funeral Home – Beamer Chapel, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, and the home-going service will be held at Sagemont Church, 11300 South Sam Houston Parkway East at 10:00am on Thursday, July 26, 2012.
