Jerry Dwayne Brown, our beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away and joined his Heavenly Father on September 9, 2012.
Jerry is survived by his mother, Maxine M. Chauffe of Lake Charles, LA.; his brothers Warren B. Brown of Temple TX. and Michael J. Brown of Katy TX.; his sister Julie R. Brown Sitton of Arlington, TX. His father, Robert Warren Brown, and brother, Dan Robert Brown, are previously deceased.
Jerry was born in Lake Charles, LA. On August 22, 1956 and moved to Houston TX. in 1965 and called Houston home for the rest of his life.
Jerry was an avid Houston Astros and LSU Tigers fan and loved to follow many other baseball and football teams regularly.
Jerry was employed by Silver Eagle Distributors for 28 years. He began driving a truck and rolling kegs and worked his way up to become the Key Account Manager for On-Premise Sales – a position for which he was perfectly suited.
His ability to meet and make new friends was well known. He possessed a rare combination of humor, intelligence, generosity and compassion that you didn’t forget – once you met him you wanted to be counted among his friends!
He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. He will be remembered in our hearts forever.
